Resilience & Relationships
As our young people learn to navigate the journey to growing into the best version of themselves, we know that their path will not always be smooth.
Sometimes there will be pebbles in their way, sometimes there will be boulders in their way, but through sharing my own journey, and the many many challenges I have overcome, along with the science of resilience and forming strong relationships, your students will learn how to apply perspective, and strategies, to navigate their journey, and they will also learn - no matter what - everything will be ok.
These two presentations can be presented separately, or combined in one presentation..
Online responsibility & the law
We wouldn't give our young people keys to a car and send them on their way, but yet - they are handed access to technology and expected to know the boundaries of the law, and the very real, ongoing impact that their actions can have.
The learning outcomes for this presentation will arm your students with relevant education on the law, their responsibilities, and importantly, how to get appropriate support if they are on the receiving end of cyberbullying, in addition to understanding personal responsibility, how to display responsible online behaviour and how to be an 'up stander', not a 'bystander'.
They will also hear real life examples of the impact of their digital footprint, and how the consequences of poor choices at this age can continue to impact them beyond the school gates.
Digital Footprint & Wellbeing
As parents, and a community, it can be challenging to understand how we can best support our young ones in this world of ever increasing technological reliance.
The majority of us are of a generation that did not grow up with technology being such a significant part of our lives, so it can be challenging to know how we navigate this.
This presentation is available to school staff, parents and your broader school community.
